Dr Emily A. Gregg

I’m an ecologist turned conservation social scientist, currently working as a Conservation Campaigner in the Community Conservation team at Zoos Victoria (views my own). I am also an honorary Adjunct Industry Fellow at RMIT University.

I use my strategic communication, behaviour change and social science expertise to drive change for nature and people, from individual action to systemic change.

I have worked with conservation organisations and universities across Australia, from chasing bilbies through the red sand in South Australia to facilitating behaviour change training in Naarm/Melbourne. My work spans three key areas: social and behaviour change, storytelling, and research.

I find joy in the variety of my work, but ultimately focus my efforts on finding strategic, creative, and empathetic pathways to empower communities to take action for nature.
